Kiki and I would like you to know how special and meaningful your photos are to us. You captured so many beautiful and touching moments at our wedding. We immediately recognized something special in your work when we first saw your portfolio — it was an easy decision to hire you as our wedding photography team.
From the outset we wanted something more than the traditional shots of couples embraced in a pose in a glowing sunset. We asked for a lot — and you delivered with stunning results. We wanted a more candid approach, for you to capture those delightful moments when people are honest in their emotions, when they don't know they're being photographed.
Additionally, you took time to record and preserve memories of the the details: the cake, the table settings, and the majesty of the setting of the beautiful ranch nestled between the red rocks of Sedona and sky that threatened rain, but graciously held back to deliver perfectly soft lighting. Your pictures are technically right: sharp with lovely depths of field. Everyone at the celebration had good things to say about you, too. Professional, good natured but not intrusive, friendly, but not familiar. Weddings are often stressful events, and with the job of shooting such a momentous occasion undoubtedly comes with high expectations. Through it all you were both calm and delightful. Even when we pulled out our camera phones and joked with you, you continued to get the shot while sharing a wink and a smile.
Not everyone can say they had as their wedding photographer someone who has work is honored by National Geographic. Kiki and I can. We are so happy with our decision to have you record our special day. You and Natalia were a delight to work with from the beginning. And in the end, we got images that will only become more treasured in the days and years to come.
